“Doin’ It For The Troops” DVDEdit this Story
When you’re overseas, far from home and family, serving in the defence force a night of comedy or music can do so much good. Now that entertainment is doing even more good, with a DVD, Doin’ it for the Troops, to raise funds for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) research through the Repat foundation.
The DVD has been put together by the Adelaide based Repat Foundation. The Foundation funds research into different medical conditions with a particular focus on Service personnel, veterans and their families. It features a great list of Aussie stars, Kylie Minogue, John Farnham, Beccy Cole, Guy Sebastian, Noiseworks and Jimmy Barnes to name just a few.
Funds raised from the sale of the “Doin’ It For the Troops” DVD will go to support the Foundation’s work on national research and projects to assist returning veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
