Join a Community Interagency or Network

An interagency is a loose network of workers in community organisations and may include representatives from government agencies. Interagencies are a meeting place to exchange information, and a forum for collective action.

 Illawarra Interagency

The Illawarra Interagency provides a forum for service providers to build relationships and work collaboratively to improve outcomes for the Illawarra community.

The Interagency is open to anyone with an interest in supporting the well being of people who live, work or play in the Wollongong, Shellharbour and Kiama LGAs. The network simply brings together representatives form all agencies with a role in community services and allows the opportunity to network, build partnerships and take action.

The Interagency meets on a bi monthly basis - on the first Thursday of every second month from 1:00 - 3:00pm. The venue alternates between Wollongong, Shellharbour and Kiama. Between meetings, communication amongst the network continues through email alerts.
