Stockland Shellharbour (near Centrelink), BLACKBUTT NSW 2529
The BreastScreen NSW Program is free and specifically designed for women aged 50 to 74. Women are recommended to have a breast screen every two years. Women aged 40 - 49 and over 74 are also welcome and eligible to attend.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Australian women and will affect 1 in 7 women in NSW during their lifetime. Research has shown that breast screening of women aged 50 to 74 can reduce the number of deaths from the disease.
A screen with BreastScreen NSW is only 20 minutes, a GP referral is not required, and all radiographers are female.
Booking is easy and can be done online or by calling 13 20 50. An interpreter is also available upon request.
You can make an appointment at our Shellharbour BreastScreen clinic today. Book online: book.breastscreen.nsw.gov.au or by calling 13 20 50.
