Chatter Hands is an Illawarra based service supporting the social and economic development of people with a disability. Chatter Hands supports and empowers people with a disability to identify their potential, pursue their interests, establish good communication methods and educate the community on the achievements, contributions and value of people with a disability.
Established in 2006, Chatter Hands has been providing sign language tutoring and community awareness programs throughout the Illawarra. In recent times, we have seen the needs of people with a disability grow and we are growing with them. Chatter Hands works closely with individuals with a disability and their families in identifying and establishing their individual self-directed lifestyle.
